The sun came out for one of our first Team Days at Cairns Farm Estate. Yes, you heard that right! It’s not just beautiful weddings we’re home to, but some incredible fun-filled corporate away days too. 

Carbon Financial joined us earlier this month for a day of team building, a delicious BBQ and celebratory birthday cake. The team arrived onsite by coach from Edinburgh, and were met with delicious breakfast rolls filled with Smokey bacon, Pork and leek sausages or Free-range scrambled eggs, setting them up for the busy day ahead. 

First up, it was time for some serious Lego play. Splitting into small groups the teams worked together at different Lego stations in the venue all to build on their creativity and communication skills.

All that team building made for some hungry work, and lunch was prepared to keep everyone fueled for the afternoon. A delicious BBQ of Hot Dogs, Cheese Burgers, Chicken Kebabs and Vegetable Skewers alongside Jacket wedges, charred cauliflower and penne pasta were enjoyed outside on the terrace, and for all the sweet tooths, a delicious Strawberry and Mascarpone cheesecake jar went down a treat. 

Meanwhile, setup had begun for some indoor and outdoor games. Inside they played Catch The Light and had a Wild West Shootout, and outside the Bucking Bronco was calling everyone’s name and the competition really set in.

The jam-packed corporate away day was closed with an awards ceremony followed by cracking open some fizz and cutting their birthday cake, a fantastic end to a brilliant Team Day we think!
